The following links take you to photos at various phases
of construction of our
indoor shooting range. This was a huge undertaking by our small
club.
Only the concrete shell , electrical, and power ventillation was
contracted out.
All other work was performed by volunteer membership participation.
Back in 2005 we had our grand opening of the Frank
Gambardella Memorial Range.
Frank was a member who for many years rallied to have this project
get off the ground.
Sadly Frank passed away during the early construction phase and was
not able
to see what for all his hard work had created.
We also wish to thank in memory Howard Phillips, member,
chief architect, and
designer who passed away this year (2007).
The excellence of Howard's leadership and dedication to this project
cannot be
described in words alone. Howard put his heart into this project and
it shows
in the quality of the results. We will sincerly miss Howard.
Additional thanks goes out to active member John Battista
who spent close to
6000 manhours & over 4 years working on construction and
mechanical installations.
